Beautiful luxury candles are made to be enjoyed but they also need to be cared for. This simple guide will help you to make the most of your favorite AM Botanical candle:

1. The first time you lit your candle , allow the wax to form a melted pool across the entire surface before extinguishing, this will prevent a memory ring (tunneling) from being created and ensure that the wax will melt evenly for the life of the candle. You don’t want to waste any precious wax, do you?

2. We use self-trimming wicks, so you’ll notice they naturally curl and trim themselves to about 5-6 mm tall. If you notice the wick is longer than that, please trim down before the next lighting.

3. Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours at a time. In order to ensure optimal diffusion of the scent, the ideal location for your candle is at half-height.

4. When creating decorative candle displays, candles should be separated from each other by a minimum of 10 cm to prevent potential hazards. Candles that are burnt too close together will affect each candle’s burn quality and duration.

5. It’s important to protect not only the precious essential oils that create the scent but also the wax. Temperature and light will affect the odour and colour so keep in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight or intense light.

6. Unless it is your birthday, do not blow on your candles. We recommend putting it out with a snuffer (usually shaped like little bells), this will avoid excessive combustion, which means that unnecessary smoke and soot will not undermine divine aromas of your intimate space.

7. Discontinue use when only 5 mm of wax remains on the bottom.

8. Whatever you do NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED.
